Mechanical engineer
Your responsibilities.
Rainmaker’s research and development department currently operates in a small team. As a mechanical engineer in this team you’ll be responsible for both of our projects, although your main focus will be the ‘Water-to-Water’ system.
In our projects you are:
Involved from design to realization and everything in between.
This means making drawings and designs in Solidworks, contact suppliers for the right components, work on prototypes and assemble, test and adjust the machines itself.
The machines itself contain all sorts of techniques and equipment like; energy generating, heat exchangers, (heat) pumps, valves, membranes and much more. You will also be engineering the steel frame and help with the software controls.
What are we looking for?
It is a full-time vacancy (32/38 hours a week) in Rotterdam.
The engineer we’re looking for has a passion for technology and likes to spend as much time in the workshop as behind his desk. You have to be broadly interested in all different kinds of techniques and be able to adapt to different kinds of situations easily.
Besides that, you have:
HBO working and thinking level with a mechanical engineering background;
Two right hands;
Knowledge and experience with SolidWorks;
Knowledge and experience with cooling technique would be nice;
You master both the Dutch and English language spoken and written;
A creative and solution-oriented spirit is what describes you.
